Because of excellent speed regulating characteristics, the Dc speed controlsystem is widely used in industrial production and electric drive systems. Especially,with the current call for protecting the environment and developing the electric cars,studying how to improve the performance of dc speed regulating system is of greatsignificance.Paper describes the DC speed control system especially DC motor control.According to previous studies, the mathematical model of permanent magnet DCmotor is analyzed, combined with the low-voltage power problems, and conventionalcurrent speed dual PI closed loop control mode has been improved, we propose a self-selecting the optimal PI parameters of double-loop control mode.Based on the theoretical analysis, using MATLAB/SIMULINK software tobuild the system control section simulation model, the conventional current speeddual PI closed-loop control mode and select the optimal PI parameters from thedouble-loop control simulation comparison results proved self-select the optimalparameters of double-loop control PI better performance than traditional double PIclosed-loop control mode.Paper also completed the drive controller hardware and software design, andthrough improving full-bridge circuit and a reasonable layout to achieve a low-voltage high-power output, while the cost is greatly reduced compared to similardrives. The product has entered the practical application, to the users productionrequirements, providing a reference for the design of vehicle’s low voltage DC powerdrives.
