When earthquake struck, the main reason why casualties and economic loss are massive is that the major of building come to break, even to collapse. In the process of practical seismic, lateral displacement is too large, cracking destruction of the joint core concrete and steel yield appear more often showing a "strong beam weak column" type of damage. In order to enhance the seismic performance of the joints, the nodes framework proposed a "strong column weak beam, strong node weak component" of the design requirements in the "Seismic Design of Buildings"(GB50011-2010). But according to several earthquake survey found that, at present, the frame structure design does not really achieve "strong node weak component" of the design requirements, the framework of structural damage is still largely destroyed on frail joints and beam end connected. Therefore, how to enhance the seismic capacity of the frame joints to improve the overall seismic performance of frame structure and stability, reduce future earthquake casualties and property losses, is a serious problem.Specific work has been done in this article, include:1. Use ABAQUS finite element software to build a two-span three-tier framework, enter EL-Centro wave, Accel artificial seismic wave,Taft waves, Wenchuan waves, Tar-Tarzana waves to calculate the seismic response of structure. According to the results, study the structure seismic performance and capacity under moderate earthquake, large earthquake and strong earthquake.2. Three different models are built to examine the seismic performance and capacity under three different cases,considering floor slab, increased stirrup ratio and stirrups strength of column and different beama linear stiffness ratio, analyses the difference of structural acceleration, layer displacement reaction and structural damage in the form structure, then find the key factors affecting the mode failure and make recommendations to the framework seismic resistant design.3. Through an experiment as an example, it examines the structural seismic performance under the strong earthquake, select a sub-element for analyzing throughout the experiment frame, the results prove that analysis results of the test and finite element obtained with higher consistency, illustrate finite element software is very accurate conclusions and it is suitable for dynamic analysis of structure.
