The shaft of warship motor generate much heat, in order to ensure the steady work of the motor, we adopt the freon cooling, but freon will pose a serious threat to the ozone layer, thus, it’s very important to seal freon. In addition, the military require when the motor was in fault, we have to complete the replacement of seals in the case of not disassemble the motor shaft and motor part. As the traditional seal can not meet the requirements of zero leakage, long life and high reliability, however magnetic fluid seal can completely satisfy these requirements. So the purpose of this study is to design magnetic fluid seal scheme suitable for motor shaft cooling medium seal.According to this goal,we complete following research:(1)Based on the magnetic fluid seal,we put forward the concept of split magnetic fluid seal at home and abroad(2)Design the suitable magnetic fluid seal scheme suitable for motor shaft cooling medium seal, complete material choosing of the concrete structure and calculation of each sealing component(3)Complete the simulation and analysis of two-dimensional static magnetic field of the split magnetic fluid sealing structure with ANSYS;(4)Complete feasibility verification experiments of split magnetic fluid sealing, including:the selection of sealing medium suitable for split magnetic fluid seal, adhesiving of split sleeve, and seal leakage detection of split sleeve;(5)Complete the whole assembly of split magnetic fluid seal, conduct magnetic fluid static seal pressure test and deduced the rotating seal on the base of static seal and verify the designed magnetic fluid seal meet the requirments of the subject.
