The main reason of the most region of southern China suffered from floodsthroughout the year is that the Low-lying area has high river in the flood season, floodwater landing on the beach made the flood area, and the area of flood water could not beblowed off, so we need to build the floodwall for resisting the intrusion of the flood, Atthe same time,building the drainage pumping stations and the other drainage facilitiesin a timely is a effective way to discharge the flood water and thoroughly solve theregional.The Nanmiangou pump station is located in the exit of Nanmiangou in the Xinpotown of Haikou city of Hainan province,it undertook the task of concentrated waterdrainage and pumping to the regional flood water, The Nanmiangou pump station islocated in the south of the Xinpo town, it is located in the earthquake area, due to theimportant of the pump station,we need to make sure the safe operation of the pumpstation and the stability of the pumping station under seismic action, The dynamic waterpressure caused by the earthquake become one of the important factors, So we need tohave further study on the interaction between the structure and the dynamic waterpressure。The content of this paper has the following points:1.This article tells The development history both at home and abroad of the pumpstation.and the meaning and purpose of the research topic and introduces the currentsituation of the seismic response.2.This article tells two kinds of the analytical methods of the finite element theoryon Pump station seismic analysis; one is contains time-history method and the other isresponse spectrum method, besides introduces the theory of interaction between soil andstructure and research method.3.This article puts forward theory of fluid-structure coupled finite element analysisand the method, besides several methods of theory were introduced simply.4.In this paper, with the example of the Nmiangou pumping station project,analyzes and evaluates synthetically the structure safety under the seismic action, theconclusion provides some reference values for the later engineering design.
