As a new retaining structure, the anti-slide pile with pre-stressed anchor cable iswidely used in the reinforcement engineering of the slope. At present, at home andabroad, there is no provision of the design specifications for the anti-slide pile withpre-stressed anchor cable. Most of design methods are based on the experience, andthere are obvious differences between them. The research on the anti-slide pile withpre-stressed anchor cable design is far behind the engineering practice. Focused on theslope seismic stability analysis and seismic design of the anti-slide pile with pre-stressedanchor cable, this paper carried out the following research works:1. The researches on the slope seismic stability analysis methods and the anti-slidepile with pre-stressed anchor cable seismic design methods are summarized. Theprinciple of limit equilibrium method and the design method of the anti-slide pile withpre-stressed anchor cable are especially expounded. And the deficiency of anti-slide pileaseismic design method is pointed out.2. Based on the pseudo-static method, the calculation format of the limitequilibrium method is derived; and based on genetic algorithm and the dichotomy, theanalysis program of the slope seismic stability is compiled and verified by the classicexample.3. The calculation methods of slide thrust along different sliding surface and thedesigns method of the anti-slide pile with pre-stressed anchor cable are studied. Basedon the elastic foundation beam model, the anti-slide pile design method of consideringthe earthquake action is developed. The corresponding design program is compiled andverified by comparing the influence of the different strain and prestressed anchor cableprocessing methods.4. Taken the landslide, which lies in provincial highway No.306line SanguzhuangHanyuan county Sichuan province to national road No.108K86+389~K86+447section, as an example, the slope stability under different seismic action level areanalyzed and the landslide thrust are calculated, then anti-slide pile with pre-stressedanchor cable is designed to test the reliability of the method and procedure of this paper.
