| The eccentrically braced steel frame with replaceable link is a new type ofstructure.The frame is de-coupling the link from the structure by using independent link,allows for an independent control of the behavior and failure of the frame system.And thefailure link can be replaced after the earthquake. The study of this new system is still in itsinfancy in foreign, and it is none in our country.Summarizes the research results and design recommendations of the eccentricallybraced steel frame with replaceable link in foreign, combine our country code, aneccentrically braced steel frame with end-plate connected link is designed. Through thecalculation and analysis by finite element software ANSYS, the frame have great ductilityand stable hysteretic behavior. Then taking into account of the diameter of bolt, theend-plate thickness of the link and the beam, the rib length of the end-plate, five seriesspecies are designed. Through simulate these species and comparative analysis the results,the main conclusions are: The behavior of the eccentrically braced steel frame withend-plate connected replaceable link is controlled by the independent link, the influence ofconnections is so poorly. Only when the connections are so weak and failure before thelink failure, it has a considerable effect on the behavior of the frame. In order to control thefailure of the structure occur in the link, not in the connections, optimizing the designmethod in this thesis. Connection design by the code is meet the requirement of enhancethe connections. The end-plate thickness of the link should not be less than the blot’sdiameter. The end-plate thickness of the beam is1.2~1.4times of the thickness of the link’send-plate. The rib of the beam’s end-plate has a considerable effect on the mechanicalbehavior of the beam’s end-plate and beam web, suggest that the length of the rib is1/3~1/2times of the beam height.The study analyzes the design method of the eccentrically braced steel frame withreplaceable link. Through comparative analysis the mechanical behavior of the species,optimizing the design method in foreign, and provide references for further study of thisnew frame system. |
