| Since2008, after the Wenchuan earthquake, China pay more attention to the work ofearthquake disaster reduction, a large number of research materials and earthquake damagedata show that bridge pier is easily damaged in the earthquake artifacts. Flexible piers, as akind of light piers has been widely used in practical engineering, put forward and research the new type of flexible piers is meaningful.Put Steel Reinforced Concrete Walled Flexible Pier as research object, putslenderness ratio, axial compression ratio, steel ratio, with or without steel bone as changeparameters, study the pier’s hysteretic curve, skeleton curve, stiffness degradation, energydissipation capacity, ductility performance and such kind of seismic behavior by themethod of theoretical analysis and finite element simulation analysis, then give out theformulas of relative strength, flexibility and the restoring force model.Research results show that the Steel Reinforced Concrete Walled Flexible Pier’shysteretic curve is more chubby and seismic behavior is better than Reinforced ConcreteWalled Flexible Pier’s; When slenderness ratio or steel ratio increasing, the pier’shysteretic curves is more chubby, the descent part of skeleton curve is more smooth andsome seismic behavior such as energy dissipation is improving, but the excessiveslenderness ratio increases to cause a decline in the limit bearing capacity of pier column; With the increase of axial compression ratio, the Horizontal Bearing Capacity of the pierincreases, hysteresis loop grow lean, some seismic behavior decrease greatly. Integratedfinite element simulation results and theoretical analysis, this paper get the formulas ofrelative strength, flexibility and the restoring force model, After compared with the finiteelement simulation results,Contrast found they are in good agreement. In this paper, the theory research and finite element simulation analysis about SteelReinforced Concrete Walled Flexible Pier’s seismic behavior can be used to practicalengineering to design such kind of flexible pier and the follow-up studies. |
