| The collapse criterion of structure under earthquake is one of the most importantindicators to evaluate structural failure. In this dissertation steel frame substructurewith cover-plate reinforced connections was selected as research object, combinedwith experiment and finite element analysis, and the seismic behavior of steel framesubstructure with cover-plate reinforced connections was systematically studied. Themaximum limit values of story drift and cumulative story drift upon steel frame withcover-plate reinforced connections were proposed at the instant of structure collaspse. The research results can provide some references for the analysis on structuralcollapse under earthquake. This primary content in this dissertation includes:(1) Three steel frame substructure specimens with cover-plate reinforcedconnections at1:3scales were fabricated, and carried out under quasi-static cyclicloading. The overall performances of steel frame substructure with cover-platereinforced connections, including hysteretic behavior, lateral strength, ductility, energy dissipation capacity, lateral stiffness, and strength degradation, wereemphatically analyzed. In addition, the local behavior, such as the rotation ofconnection, shear deformation of panel zone, the strains at key points, was alsoanaylyzed. Combined with the test results, the maximum limit values of story driftand cumulative story drift of steel frame with cover-plate reinforced connections atthe instant of structural collapse were proposed.(2) The test specimens were analyized based on ABAQUS software, and thehysteretic vureves, skeleton cureves, lateral stiffness, cumulative energy dissipation, and failure mode of test specimens were comprared with test results. The presise andrationality of the finite element analysis were further proved.(3) The parameter finite element analysis on steel frame substructure with cover-plate reinforced connections adopted ABAQUS software were analyzed, and theinfluence of span, story height, span number, story number, steel beam section, andsteel column axial compression ratio on the seismic performance of steel frame withcover-plate reinforced connections were systematical investigated in this dissertation. |
