| Presently, the unmanned substation has been widely used in China’s power system.With the requirement for the automation of the substation is more and more high, thetarget for the operation of the substation is more and more strict. Especially for theunmanned substation, the requirement for the reliability to ensure its safety becomesmore prominent. Therefore, applying reliability research in power enterprises andforming a complete theory of power safety are of great practical significance. Thistheory not only makes the power enterprise to meet customer requirements, but alsohigher reliability may be achieved within the power department.In this paper, from the research on the reliability of the substation, we summarizedand analyzed the substation structure, the operating principles and cautions of severalimportant equipments, the IEC61850standard. In addition, we also researched thereliability theory, analyzed and classified the status information of the substationequipment. Based on the substation’s information flow, we built a correspondingreliability computation model with the graphical modeling and the reliability blockdiagrams methods. Finally, combined with the actuality of an unmanned substation inChengde Kuancheng power supply bureau, we verified the effectiveness of the abovemethod with the reliability computation on its simplified model. |
