Due to the nonlinear large scale power system with dynamic uncertainties, makesthe analysis and early warning is very difficult. Framework for the long-term use localinformation based power system control and protection design method and static securitydefense system, can’t meet with control, system protection and dynamic security defensefor vibration suppression of large scale power system requirements, this theurgent requirements of technical methods and new technology.Based on this condition, the new methods and technical means is required urgently.Emerged as a new generation of stability control technology based on WAMS large gridtoward the development of a large area of real-time monitoring and control the directionof the state-of-the-art IT platform may become countries today competing research anddevelopment of emerging one of the science and technology field, so the research on griddynamic monitoring technology is necessary.According to the new type of grid real-time dynamic monitoring technique based onWAMS, power grid are introduced in detail in this paper all parts of the real-timedynamic monitoring system, namely son standing, dispatching center master station (gridreal-time dynamic monitoring of WAMS/host) and high-speed communication network,etc.; Classification expounds grid real-time dynamic monitoring technology in theapplication of power system dynamic monitoring; Finally combined with the actualpower grid, this paper introduces the SCADA system of LinFen equipped and connectingwith the actual fault scenario to verify the dynamic monitoring system play a role in theactual fault, and construction of power grid dynamic monitoring technology in Chinabased on this proposed the enlightenment.
