This paper on the impact of lithium by-several key aspects of thionyl chloride battery performance to research to improve lithium thionyl chloride primary battery electrical performance and safety, so that the battery can meet the relevant national military standard and user requirements.This project through the battery cathode materials characterization acetylene black, select optimal performance cathode material, improving the electrode surface area and chemical reactions conductivity; through research, electrical characterization of high activity catalyst binuclear metal phthalocyanine complexes, to determine the best additive dosage forms and additives to improve battery voltage and capacity, reducing the battery voltage lag; through research appropriate safety electrolyte additive, select the best dosage of additives to improve lithium-thionyl chloride battery under abuse conditions security; improved by new technology research to optimize the molding process of the battery positive electrode, a positive electrode, the specific surface area increase, colleagues for battery production, a common problem in use, stainless steel production process of the battery, the battery sealing process, the battery separator technology, battery winding process, the battery fluid injection technology for improved, improved production efficiency of the battery, improved battery life, storage problems, to enhance battery performance and production capacity.After the materials and processing technology clearly has the best performance, prototype sample batteries, lithium batteries in accordance with the relevant requirements of performance and safety testing. Tests concluded that the improved research lithium-thionyl chloride battery performance than conventionally produced batteries, capacity, voltage and other electrical performance lags significantly improved; while the battery can meet the safety requirements as well as military targets users requirements.
