In all types of transportation, the pedestrian traffic has its irreplaceable role. During walking, there exist many passageways that make pedestrian flow cross or walk in the other line, resulting in a mixture of pedestrian flow feature in pedestrian area and affecting the pedestrian travel time, traffic capacity and service levels of interwoven region.This paper summarizes the characteristics of pedestrian traffic, analyzes the social forces simulation model of pedestrian behavior and focus on the improvement of research elaborate social force model for society. Which provides theoretical support for the model of overtaking and avoiding model study.The main contents are as follows:For the deficiencies of traditional social force model and on the basis of previous studies, this paper introduces a individual decision-making behavior, especially for the collision and avoidance behavior. This paper do some improvement for the irrational phenomenon which are pedestrian can not overtake or avoid because of the stress relationship in traditional model of social power relation and build visual mechanism for the occurrence of visual density range as a conditional judgment before the pedestrian behavior. Pedestrians can overtake or avoid according to their destination to make the model more realistic.Combined with the decision-making behavior, the social force pedestrian model has been improved which make the establishment of the overtaking and avoiding(divided into single and double bypass model) model in the urban railway transit.In virtue of MATLAB, We make the overtaking and avoiding programming of traditional social force model, the improvement of social force model and improved model in this paper, and simulate the pedestrian behavior of the scene of overtaking in one direction and avoiding in different directions. Set the model parameter to build many kinds of environment and then simulate.Compared social force model and the improvement of social force model, we do many analysis in pedestrian overtaking and avoiding model in urban rail channel. Through compared walking time in the urban rail channel and the complexity of algorithm, verified the improved model in this paper is superior to the previous model and more realistic.
