ABSTRACT:With the development of our country’s traffic career, the high-speed rail construction of middle and west area comes to its booming period. Guizhou department of new new-built Hukun high-speed rail is located in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, which is full of high mountains, deep canyon, and deep-developed Karst.Karst conduit, huge dry cavity. The methods of treating these geological disasters determines whether tunnel construction can smoothly finished, and are the key problem, which need to handle in karst area. Solve these dilemma and develop a group of tunnel construction methods will provide precious experience for similar engineering in the future. Based on the Doumo tunnel and Dadushan tunnel of the Hukun high-speed rail, we launched a study on the construction method of karst tunnel, when huge cavities appear in front of tunnel, through theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and field monitoring, the following work had been done:(l)Regular pattern of curtain grouting of cavities full of water in karst tunnel has been summarized through field experiment. The result of grouting for water plugging has been evaluated, and the optimization of parameters of grouting has been studied, by numerical simulation.(2)The construction method for handling the cavity full of high pressure water has been studied and concluded, by field experiment and consult with various devices. The application of the construction method of release energy and pressure has been studied.(3)Different tunnel construction method beneath river in Karst area has been compared, through field survey and example query, finally raise feasible treatment method...
