’:The noise and abnormal rail corrugation caused by wheel-rail vibration in some metro vibration-reduction tracks have gained more and more concern. To understand the wheel-rail vibration law accurately is the key to solve this problem. On the basis of related domestic and aboard research, combining with some vibration damping track and vehicleused in Chinesemetro, the paper develops the models of vehicle, track and vehicle-track interconnection system, then the transfer and running dynamic characteristics of four track structures (DTVI2fastener track, egg fastener track, ladder track, steel-spring slab-floating track) are studied. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Models of vehicle, track and vehicle-trackinterconnection systemare developed respectively in ANS YS FEM Software, the vibration characteristics of not only vehicle and track themselves but also the vehicle-track interconnection systems are studied, the difference of wheel-rail vibration in different models and different track structuresare also compared. It shows that, the wheel-rail vibration characteristic frequency is not the collection of characteristic frequency of wheel and track respectively. The wheel-rail interaction could cause the resonance and anti-resonance, which could change the characteristic frequency of the system, the vehicle-track coupling system model can reflect the interaction between wheel and rail better, and the types of track structure have a greater influence on the wheel-rail vibration on the frequency less than300Hz, there areresonance and anti-resonance phenomenon on the frequency of340Hz and480-520Hz.(2)Vehicle-track coupling models of different metro tracks are developed in ANSYS/LS-DYNA, the effects of vehicle speed on the dynamic characteristics of vehicle and track are studied. The research shows that, there is some difference in the effects of vehicle speed on dynamic characteristics of four vehicle-track systems,on the condition of only considering the irregularities of track structures, thewheel/rail force of egg fastener trackis increased with the vehicle speed,whereas thewheel/rail force of the other three trackshave no similar phenomenon.(3)The analysis of time domain and frequency domainare also combined to find the rules of wheel-rail vibration. It shows that, there areanti-resonance on the frequency of340Hz in all four metro vehicle-track systems; therefore, we should optimizethe track structure parameters of the vehicle and track and change the characteristic frequency of wheel-rail vibration to reduce the rail diseases and ensure the safety of the train pass-by.The models in this paper take account of comprehensive factors and overcome the shortcomings in previous study that considered less about the vehicle-track coupling. The wheel-rail vibrationcharacteristics of different metro track structures are studied from the view of combination of time domain and frequency domain, the research in this paper provide a theoretical basis for further study in this area.
