Traditional stone house is one that a stone masonry wall as its main bearingcomponent,and is one of the main representative forms of traditional residences inChina,with significant regional differences and a long history,there are differentregional stone types and masonry types, forming the colorful stone characteristics.Since it has the advantages of easy to use local materials, high compressive strength,long life in structure, then it widely remains in some rural mountain area at present,with the construction of local wisdom and culture, possessing the very high researchvalue.Traditional stone houses in the Shidonggou Village Gaoshan Town XingyangCity have an unique building style,and is the live samples of the study of stonestructure in the central plains,providing detailed source and foundation to perfect thestone dwellings in Henan province.However, due to the use of long time, influencedby the natural conditions, and most of the houses built on the basis of the experienceaccumulated in the local craftsmen, with the unsafe structure, the existing stonehouses appeared a variety of quality diseases in the process of normal use, thusreducing the living quality and structure safety.In order to protect and repair these traditional stone houses, this paper entrustedby XingYang city cultural research department, in the course of the "twelfth five-yearplan" in the national science and technology support projects, and conducted theanalysis of the quality and control measures for the comprehensive study. This paperdid resarch in-depth field, mastered the relevant materials of building construction,and summed up the common diseases, established the whole model building based onthe method of numerical simulation and analyzed the force deformation regular ofstructure, knew the weak positions, and understood the formation mechanism oftypical quality diseases, thus, put forward measures and verified their validity andrationality. This paper has done detailed work as follows:(1) In the course of the investigation into the hinterland, we got the firsthandmaterial of the tradional stone houses in the Shidonggou village through surveying, interviews and taking photos,then classified and sorted the common qualityquestiones of houses, at the same time conducted theoretical analysis of the cause ofthe disease from the natural conditions, material properties, constructioncharacteristics, structure performance.(2) By means of finite element, on the basis of investigation data, according tothe structural characteristics of stone house,this paper established the wholemodeling, determined the size and parameters of the model, using some basicassumptions, calculated the action of gravity, provided the basis for a comprehensiveunderstanding of stress deformation regular and further study of the causes of typicaldisease mechanism.(3) According to the result of finite element calculation, this paper did thethorough analysis of displacement and stress of the global and local traditional stonehouse, concluded the causes and regular of development of typical diseasemechanism,determined the weak parts of the building, to study the control measuresof disease.(4) On the basis of summarizing the folk experience,this paper put forwardreasonable measures of typical disease,narrated plusing steel plate constraint systemreinforcement technique, and contrasted the reinforcement before and after usingnumerical simulation, demonstrated the effectiveness of control measures, providedreliable technical reference for the protection and repair of the traditional stonehouses.
