And then growat rate of growth of50,000an annual. Rush hour congestion in city makes a biginconvenience for urban residents. Reasonable Urban Traffic Signal Control system is thefastest way to solve the intersection congestion problem.1. The common traffic signal control system and traffic signal control method based onvehicle detector is analyzed in this paper. The detector is placed at intersection, and detectstraffic flow at the real time. We can predict traffic flow for next intersection signal controlcycle of the next intersection, and will forecast the vehicle arriving at the intersection as awhole fleet.2. The adaptive traffic Signal Control Method based on Genetic Algorithm is given then,the control goal is to make large fleet smoothly through the intersection, and make theaverage vehicle delay of intersection use the shortest time.3. Fix-timing control method and actuated control method is introduced at the sametime.4. Finally, make the simulation of the three intersection signal control method in theopen-source simulation system SUMO. Compare three signal control method in moderatecrowding state and severe congestion status, through analysis the simulation result, we givethe reasonable advice for intersection signal control. |
