Soil source heat pump is a kind of available in renewable energy utilizationtechnology, has a great energy saving potential. In the process of practical application indomestic, the new technology is still exist many problems to be solved, infuenced byfactors such as local geological conditions, climate characteristics, technical conditionsand building palisade structure. Based on the existing soil source heat pump systemexperiment platform, experimental study on buried tube heat transfer performance andsystem operation strategies for soil source heat pump technology application, isconducted in this paper.Tests on the heat transfer capability of vertical tube and horizontal spiral tube withdifferent structure forms are taken under diffferent flow velocity and inlet watertemperature in pipe in this paper, which show the relative sizes of the heat exchangequantity per well depth in different forms of buried pipes, and offer the best operatingvelocity of different kinds of buried pipes. Inlet water temperature in pipe should bereasonably adjusted by the function of AHU and the load condition.Building annual dynamic cold and hot load simulation is done in this paper by asimulation software. Two kinds of cooling tower operation strategies are also given inthis paper, aided by experiment analysis, considering wuhan region climate, buildingload characteristic and the selection of the cooling tower capacity and other factors. The intermittent operation characteristics of soil source heat pump system are alsostudied in this paper. The results show the temperature recovery features of differentstructure forms of buried holes under intermittent operation conditions. In addition, anintermittent operation strategy, using reasonable intermittent start-stop time ratio andburied pipe alternately running under part-load condition, is given in this paper, bydiscussing the buried holes temperature under intermittent operation condition and theinfluence on the cooling and heating efficiency.
