With the increasing installed capacity of wind farms, The influence of wind powergrid to the power grid is more and more big. Due to the inherent randomness wind turbines,Makes the wind power grid reactive power grid after active current distribution and voltagestability affected by the larger. This paper comprehensive review and summary theReactive power optimization problem containing wind farm first, and analyzed the windturbines active power and reactive power output characteristic and control characteristic.The traditional reactive power optimization problem is improved, take the minimumactive network loss and reactive power compensation capacity of minimum mutual as theobjective function, comprehensive consider operation cost and planning cost; Objectivefunction weighting factor and operation constraints is studied and the relationship betweenthe objective function values, put forward a method of weighting factor optimizationsetting through optimization and intelligent screening for many times, meet the power gridto the active loss, compensation capacity and specific operating constraints ofcomprehensive requirements.The above optimization method is applied to contain the regional power grid reactivepower optimization of the wind farm, containing wind farm is established mathematicalmodel for reactive power optimization in area power network, considering containing windfarm areas are the most power grid reactive power planning, capacity requirements,network loss percentage requirement, bus and other wind power grid busbar voltage levelrequirements, through multi-objective optimization calculation, at the same time meet theoperation requirements and planning requirements of containing wind farm area powergrid reactive power optimization strategy. Use case analysis verify, prove the effectivenessof the method.
