Excitation system is an important part of a synchronous, which is connected tothe generator and power system voltage stability control closely. Excitation systemfor improved sync generators and electrical systems of the stability, improve thesystem of dynamic quality has a very important role; therefore it is very necessary forthe power system stability analysis to know the detailed mathematical model ofsynchronous generator excitation system and calculation. Although most of thesimulation software currently has a model library of the excitation system, butbecause most of these models in the library of model parameters are according to thefactory to get the initial component parameters of each element or combination ofexperience, and in many case do not take into account interaction between the variouscomponents. So the calculation and simulation results will appear certain influence.According to the situation above, this paper specifically for synchronous generatorexcitation system model, design a set of model identification for parameteridentification, to determine the actual parameters of the excitation system model.Identification device includes data acquisition and PC parameter identification oftwo parts, the first step of synchronous acquisition parameter identification ofexcitation system is muti-channel synchronous acquisition for actual systems throughthe data acquisition device. Considering the complexity and the characteristic ofexcitation system of synchronous generator, the data acquisition device based onC8051F410MCU and AD7606as the core chip,and it can realize multi channelsynchronous sampling, and collected data to U disk with large capacity, so as torealize the offline collection.The core link of synchronous generator excitation system for modelidentification is the identification of parameters identification by computer software,and the computer identification software is realized by MATLAB and VB. Coreidentification software is the genetic algorithm written in MATLAB, and theidentification software sampling conversion command set an channel sorting iswritten by VB, and identification software in the data processing and parameter identification and verification is realized through the function and the program VBcalling in the MATLAB. Identification of entire PC software interface is very easyand intuitive, and versatile.The model combining aspects of the operational amplifier and a typical RCcomponents constituted from. Its object recognition results indicate that identificationdevice with the basic functions of synchronous generator excitation system modelidentification.
