Induction heating equipment is a system engineering and its core component isinverter power source for induction hearting. Advantages and disadvantages ofinduction heating power supply embodiment focus on controlling range of outputpower, control accuracy and dynamic load matching method.At present, research hotspot of induction heating power supply for one hand focuson high accuracy power of heating system and frequency tracing technology in loadcircuit, and for other hand focus on high power and high-frequency technology. inthe article, by using impulsive synchronization technology based on phase zero andPDM control of uniformization, output power of series resonant inverter wasaccurately controlled. finally, we developed principle prototype of PDM inverterpower source for digital induction heating based on FPGA.Firstly this paper introduces domestic and international inverter power source forinduction heating about research status, technical features, working principle andpresent power controlling mode. Then the authors analyze different forms andperformance of main circuit and inverter topology and put forward a kind of inverterpower source using PDM control of uniformization based on traditional inverter.By implementing FPGA and using VHDL language, control system program flow,hardware and interface circuit are designed and analyzed.By constracting experiment platform, we test PDM inverter power source. Theexperimental results demonstrate the feasibility and validity.
