Biomss energy is a kind of renewable resources, which has become a research hotspot because of advantages of large reserve, renewable and little damage to environment and so on. Technology of biomass by microwave pyrolysis is one of effective means of using biomass resourcees. In this thesis, the systemic research on the pyrolysis character of corncob was carried out by thermogravimetries SDT2960, and then established the pyrolysis kinetic model of corncob. The results revealed that the corncob pyrolysis can be approximately regarded as a one-order reaction.Three transition metal oxides catalystsMOx/PG (MOX stand for oxides of Ni, Fe or Co) was prepared by using PG as carrier in impregnation method. Then, the catalytic effect of three transition metal oxides catalysts were studied by catalytic pyrolysis corncob to produce hydrogen in the microwave reactor. The results showed that NiO/PG is the best catalyst for producing hydrogen compared with the others, compared to the situation of pyrolysis corncob to produce hydrogen without catalyst, pyrolysis corncob to produce hydrogen with NiO/PG can improve respectively the yield of hydrogen and the yield of potential hydrogen from11.3g/(kg biomass) and203.3g/(kg biomass) to26.3g/(kg biomass) and263.1g/(kg biomass). The process conditions of pyrolysis corncob to produce hydrogen with NiO/PG were optimized. The results indicated that when the weight of corncob is10g, reaction time is15min, the optimum pyrolysis process conditions are the microwaves power is1000W, the loading quantity of NiO on the catalyst is18.0%and the amount of catalysts is2.0g.
