With±800kV UHVDC transmission project from Hami to Zhengzhou putting intooperation, and the Xinjiang power grid is made ac/dc interconnected system, the complicationand diversification of the space truss structure of power grid, emerged a large number of newstability problems. In this paper, on the basis of the Xinjiang grid, it was set that the UHVDCPower Grid out transmitting thermal-generated power bundled with Wind Power andPhotovoltaic Power. And the paper analyzed the effects and the theory of the ac/dcinterconnected system under the various fault, and put forward relevant stability controlmeasures. The paper provided some reference suggestions for the stable operation of thepower grid in Xinjiang. In this paper, the main research contents are as follows:(1)It will be put forward that the method of the large-scale wind farm equivalentcalculation based on the static electricity lines, and they will be built that the detailed modeland the equivalent model of wind farms in the Power System Analysis Software Package andthrough the power flow calculation, short circuit calculation compared the accuracy of theequivalent model is verified.(2)According to the parameters of the UHVDC transmission’s practical operation inXinjiang, They will be built that the models of the large-scale wind power, the photovoltaicpower and the UHVDC transmission in the Power System Analysis Software Package, andincorporated into the Xinjiang power grid. And it will be verified that the accuracy andeffectiveness of the UHVDC Power Grid out transmitting thermal-generated power bundledwith Wind Power and Photovoltaic Power.(3)Through the simulation and the analysis of the stability characteristics of the gridunder different ratio of wind power, photovoltaic power and thermal power and the constraintfactors of ac/dc system to be delivered to the outside, put forward the stability control strategyabout ac/dc system to be delivered to the outside that is suitable for Xinjiang power grid. Andon this basis, it is obtained that UHVDC power limit that is delivered to the outside.
