Self compacting concrete (Self-Compacting Concrete, referred to as SCC) is the highliquidity, no segregation, uniformity and stability, pouring on weight, reach the dense withoutvibration. Excellent flowability offered the reliable technological guarantee for structuredesign with dense reinforcement, without vibration reduces the labor intensity of workers andnoise pollution of construction, extensive use of fly ash, blast furnace slag and other solidwaste preparation, effectively improve the utilization rate of industrial waste, reduceenvironmental pollution. Good performance which has an important position in the concreteengineering, is considered to be the one of the development direction of high performanceconcrete technology in the future.There are many researches on self compacting concrete at present, but there is no unifiedmix design method of self compacting concrete because of raw materials is sensitive to it.Performance index of self compacting concrete (elastic modulus, coefficient of lateraldeformation and peak strain) were studied, but the scholars’ research results are not consistentbecause of the difference of raw materials. The raw materials used in Urumqi area used toprepare C30self-compacting concrete in this paper, to research the raw material influence onthe performance of self compacting concrete workability and mechanics, systematic study onbasic mechanical properties of C30self compacting concrete, and the C30self compactingconcrete beams flexural properties were studied.The replacement rate of fly ash and slag which are from Urumqi area to Tianshan cement,were got by the test of mineral admixture replace Tianshan cement. The influences of shapeindex and grain composition of coarse aggregate which were used in Urumqi area on selfcompacting concrete, were got by the test of shape index and grain composition of coarseaggregate influence the performance of self compacting concrete. Through the basicmechanical properties test, cube compressive strength, prism compressive strength, splittingtensile strength, stress-strain curve of C30self compacting concrete which used in Urumqi area were got. Finally, through the self compacting concrete simply supported beambending test, verify the plane section assumption of self compacting concrete beams, theindex of flexural performance, such as the cracking load, the yield load, the bending stiffnessand the normal section bearing capacity and so on were got.
