Punching shear is an brittle failure without waring which would make an severe damage for building. And some times the chain reaction of brittle failure would cause the collapsing of whole building. In a word, it is very important to do the research of the RC punching shear resistance.Although it has a lot of comments since we do this research for hundreds of years, it has complex problem in itself so that we still didn’t solve it with an system and completed analysis way. Base on the research before, this essay will analysis the RC punching shear capability and make an conclusion.
