At present,permanent magnet motor is widely used in electric bicycle.However,the poor climbing ability,the lack of permanent magnetic materials and other issues limit the sustainable and healthy development of electric bicycle. Switched reluctance motor with the advantages of simple structure, reliable performance, high starting torque and low starting current has high efficiency in the broad range of speed, especially it is suitable for frequent start-stop electric bicycle.Therefore,this paper designs electric bicycle controller based on the three-phase6/4poles Switched Reluctance Motor.Firstly, this paper analyzes the basic principle of Switched Reluctance Motor and SRM control system is designed on the basic of the characteristics of electric bicycle.The simulation model is established by the MATLAB/SIMULINK,the simulation results show the scheme is validity.In order to overcome the problem of torque ripple,this paper adopts Direct Instantaneous Torque Control based on three-level.This paper mainly introduces operation principle of torque hysteresis controller,according to torque deviation value,torque hysteresis controller determines voltage state of motor winding and suppresses the torque ripple.The simulation results show the torque ripple is strictly limited in torque hysteresis.DITC effectively suppresses torque ripple of Switched Reluctance Motor compared with Direct Torque Control.According to the characteristics of Switched Reluctance Motor driving system for electric bicycle, this paper designs the electric bicycle driving control system based on the250W three-phase6/4poles Switched Reluctance Motor and STM32F103. The hardware circuit mainly include MOSFET driving circuit, power converter, position detection circuit and so on.The system software mainly include program and subprogram.The results shows that the design is reasonable.Finally, this paper discusses the experimental platform and the results achieved, analyzes the deficiencies and comes up with the next objectives.
