Anchor cable is widely used in slope strengthening. Grouting quality hassignificant impact on security and durability. Ultimate anchoring force got byexperience and experiment in the design, which results are inaccurate. Impacted bytechnique, equipment, level of construction and geological condition duringconstruction,all kinds of quality problems of anchor cable are being come out. Anchorcable is unable to meet the requirement for design and reinforce. Researching the effectson the anchoring force of grouting quality has important implications for bothreinforcement mechanism and construction.The most common of grouting quality problems are about grouting body not plumpand cavities. Reinforcement mechanism and stress mechanism were described. Tookthose two quality problems as research object, tensile force centralized anchor cablefinite element mode was established. The relationship between quality problems andultimate anchoring force was explored.As for grouting body not plump, multigroup different plumpness of finite elementmode was established. It highlight calculated ultimate anchoring force of differentplumpness of anchor cable under the set failure criterion. The change rules betweenplumpness and ultimate anchoring force were researched. Computed resultsdemonstrated grouting body not plump had great influence on ultimate anchoring force.Its main performance was the influence on bonding strength between grouting body andsoil mass, grouting body and steel strand. It affected well when plumpness was60%to80%range, while higher and lower the influence was small.As for cavities, this paper established six finite element model to calculate ultimateanchoring force taking location, quantity and size into account. The resultsdemonstrated different location, quantity and size of grouting cavities were all bad forultimate anchoring force. As for influence of location, it was great and closely related todistribution of anchorage stress on grouting body, and the influence of quantity in acertain range as well. But the influence of size was small.Researched the relationship between the slope anchor cable pore filling quality andanchoring force, two quality problems above were affect ultimate anchoring force well.So corresponding measure was developed for avoiding quality problems. Setting theconstruction control points to guarantee security and reliability.
