At present, mechanical products are Heading toward high speed, highefficiency, compact, reliable, low vibration, low noise, light weight and automation,the product request is getting higher and higher. Mud pump gear transmissionsystem is an important part of the slurry pump, the parameters of gear determine notonly the size and weight of the gear transmission system, but also the noise andvibration of the whole transmission system and the reliability of the gear transmissionsystem. Because the vibration and noise of gear transmission producted by ourcountry is generally serious than foreign products, the dynamic characteristicsresearch of gear transmission system has always been the focus.This research bases on the modern mechanical system dynamics, from theperspective of system, using the reliability theory and optimization theory to establisha slurry pump gear transmission system, and solving the dynamic reliability of themodel with MATLAB. Based on that the vibration and noise of gear transmissionsystem are analyzed, Finally the parameters. which affect the bevel gear transmissionreliability are analyzed for their sensitivity Aimed at designing gear transmissionsystem which is low noise and vibration by using the reliability theory andoptimization theory. Therefore, this article mainly research work are as follows:1. Thoroughly studies the structure of mud pump gear transmission system andanalyzes the stress distribution of the whole process of gear transmission, thenappropriately simplified, elastic deformation of bevel gears and helical gears in thetransmission process are got, and establish the mathematical model of elasticdeformation.2. Considering each translational degree of freedom and the rotational degree offreedom and allowing for stiffness excitation, error excitation in the process of geartransmission, the influence of the external excitation and damping of the geartransmission, mud pump more degrees of freedom dynamic model of geartransmission system is set up.3. Reliability index of each gear and other constraints is setted up by using thereliability theory and optimization theory, reliability optimization model is setted upby minimizing the sum of vibration acceleration and volume4. In the optimization model, gear transmission system dynamics differentialequation is embedded, the dynamic reliability optimization model for gear transmission system is got, using the MATLAB optimization toolbox to solve forobtaining the optimal gear parameters.5. According to the reliability sensitivity analysis, perturbation method, Taylorseries and fourth order moment method the calculation formula of reliabilitysensitivity is deduced, design parameters according to the tooth surface of spiral bevelgear contact fatigue and tooth root bending fatigue strength calculation of thereliability sensitivity based on the obtained results it is concluded that the influence ofgear parameters on gear reliability sensitivity.
