At present, China’s traffic is developing rapidly, but traffic channelization andoverload phenomenon is very serious, some of the road appeared cracks, pro package,rutting damage, subsidence etc. after put into use in not a long time, especially in thehot and humid climate district, the damage is more severe,Therefore, the roadpavement material’s road performance needs to be improved. PR-Module highmodulus asphalt mixture is able to improve the road performance by increasing themodulus of the material, can solve the problem of road damage. This paper analyzesto study the hot and humid environment PR-Module high modulus asphalt mixture’swater stability, mechanical properties, fatigue resistance and permanent deformationperformance road performance by combining theoretical laboratory tests.Firstly, This paper has researched the technical indicators of high modulusasphalt’s materials, put forward specific requirements on some of the indicators. Thispaper also have Analyzed the PR-Module high modulus additive’s modificationmechanism. We get the PR-Module high modulus asphalt concrete’s various testparameters and determine the mixing and concrete mixing process test methodsthrough the Marshall test. We studied the best bitumen aggregate ratio under differentenvironments and different PR-Module dose conditions, the bitumen aggregate rationeed to decrease about0.2%based on the best bitumen aggregate ratio in hot andhumid environments.Secondly, this paper has designed water stability evaluation methods adapted tohot and humid climate in Jiangxi-Splitting water immersion test. Compared with thefreeze-thaw splitting test,the PR-Module additives can significantly improve thewater stability of asphalt mixture. After three of the mechanical properties of asphaltmixes indoor test results indicate that PR-Module can significantly improve theasphalt mixture’s splitting strength, resilient modulus and dynamic modulus. The highmodulus asphalt concrete’s dynamic modulus master curve can be drawn throughsome methods, and eventually, the dynamic modulus of asphalt concrete can be got atany temperature and load frequency.Then, this paper has conducted Splitting fatigue test with four different doses ofPR-Module asphalt, indicated that PR-Module can significantly improve the fatiguelife of the specimen by analyzing the theory of fatigue damage and associated fatigue test data. It has fitted a high modulus of asphalt’s fatigue curve, including that highmodulus asphalt concrete not only in addition to hot and humid environment,but alsouseful in conditions of heavy load traffic. By asphalt failure mechanism analysis, thefatigue damage process can be broadly divided into fatigue cracks and diffusion, thesteady growth of fatigue cracks and fracture failure mixture in three stages.Finally, this paper has producted the Repeated load triaxial test,and got thepermanent deformation curve in conditions of different temperatures, partial stressand PR-Module dose, indicated that the PR-Module can significantly enhance theasphalt’s resistance to permanent deformation. It has drawed the asphalt’sthree-dimensional graphics about "partial stress-the role of frequency-permanentdeformation", indicated the use of PR-Module high modulus asphalt mixture in hotand humid regions can effectively extend the life of the road, has a strong economyand practicality.
