At present, there are about more than20kinds of off-grid type small fans in our country have been into production, and millions can be produced annual average. The majority of residents who live in remote areas of, herders, and fishermen’s power demand of production (except living power) increased with the development of social economy greatly. The main users of off-grid type small wind turbine are still the residents who live in remote areas without electricity in the farming, animal husbandry, and fishing. Among them, the Inner Mongolia autonomous region has become the areas which off-grid wind turbines are used most widely in our country with its unique geographical conditions and rich wind energy resources, better government policy and actively support. In recent years, the application of small wind turbine alsohas developed into two new directions with the progress of science and technology and the development of social economy, one for urban and rural road scenery complementary system, one for distributed generation system.With so big market prospect, the selection-method for off-grid type of small wind turbines is rare, which caused great trouble to the most purchaser who don’t know about the wind generator well. Aiming at these problems, this article put sforward the feasible, simple and convenient selection plan, and do the practical examination according to the national standard test methods.
