In order to save energy and improve energy efficiency, the heat exchanger is an important area of innovation and improvement for researchers, flat pipe as an efficient heat transfer enhancement components are widely used in heat transfer equipment. Flat pipe has important theoretical and practical significance of structural forms and application methods for deeper study. This article first introduces the basics of heat transfer theory and Computational Fluid Dynamics,the CFD software and then use numerical simulations0angle flat pipe,30angle flat pipe,60angle flat pipe,90angle flat pipe, round pipe to establish a simplified model, meshing and solving model and then has a result of two-dimensional flow and heat transfer performance of contour maps and data, and comparative analysis of images and data to identify the best flow and heat transfer performance structure. Finally, the same size90angle flat pipe heat exchanger and round pipe heat exchanger were simplely tested, the test results showed that90angle flat pipe is better than round pipe heat exchanger for heat transfer.These results of the flat pipe heat exchangers for the actual project provides a useful basis theoretical,while significance and reference value is guiding to the flat pipe heat exchanger design, manufacture and application.
