| Train adaptive control algorithm is the key to realize automatic train operation. A well-designed train adaptive control algorithm can not only lighten the drivers’ work intensity, but also improve the comfort level of passengers, and improve the efficiency of train operation.In this paper, train operation controller is designed based on adaptive control, and realized in the embedded platform. On the PC platform, the configured train operation curves are calculated and transmitted to the embedded platform. The controller at the embedded platform calculates the train tractive or braking forces and enforces them on the train model to obtain the actual train operation curves.The embedded CPU used in this paper is S3C2440based on ARM9. The operation system of the embedded platform is Windows CE6.0. The development processes are elucidated about the train adaptive control platform. Using the embedded platform, the simulation of train adaptive control is undertaken. The unstable control problem is found for discretizing the continuous adaptive controller, and the solution strategy is proposed. The experimental results show that the designed adaptive control algorithm can overcome the effects of the disturbances of time-variant parameters on the train operation performances, and thus accomplish the high-accurate track control of ideal train operation trajectories. |
