With the interconnected grids development and the rise of smart grid, modern power system becomes increasingly complex in structure. In recent years, world-wide blackout events frequently happen, have caused enormous social economic losses. Developing a reasonable restoration program of power system is essential to reduce the power outage losses and shorten power recovery time. In this paper, relevant researches of power system restoration program development are carried out. Main contents are as follows.Black-start program model system is built based on PSCAD/EMTDC simulation platform The system includes the electrical components in generation, transmission, distribution, utilization of electricity. The components make up the early recovery system model which is the basis of simulation. Assume a one phase short fault in the early system to verify its transient stability and estimate the availability of black start program. The results can be used to guide protection device settings and configurations. An example is presented to introduce the use method and practical applicability of the models.A prior plan should be sorted out from multiple available plans. To this end, formulate the index system with basic principles of filtering, on this basis firstly, then proposes a evaluation algorithm which combines the entropy weight and improved analytic hierarchy process. The new algorithm can not only solve the problems that traditional AHP unable to pass the consistency test, but also take into account the subjective experience and objective facts. The calculation process is simple but accurate. Example shows the usefulness and accuracy of the algorithm and the computational steps are explained. With the constant development of new energy, the proportion of new energy in power grid is larger and larger, especially wind power. In this paper, the pros and cons of wind power integration in wind power are analyzed. The best time for wind integration is discussed. At last, a simulation program is designed to study a real system in order to illustrate the impact of wind power integration on system restoration process. The research provides a certain reference value to the research of new energy participation in power system restoration.
