As grid is evolving in the direction of intelligence and digitization, traditional electromagnetic current transducer is increasingly difficult to meet the demand puts forward by smart grid become of its self-defect. People have paid more and more attention to optical current transducer become it has advantages of large dynamic range, wide frequency response and good insulation property. But physics factors such as magnetic field distribution, temperature, vibration, light source and so on make so much influence on the performance of OCT that it is necessary to do research on multi-physics field of OCT sensor element.In this paper, various internal and external factors affecting the performance of OCT is analyzed firstly. The time-varying distributed parameter model is proposed. Then the electromagnetic field, temperature field and light field of OCT sensor element is repectively studied, and the finite element analysis software COMSOL Mul ti physics is also used to establish corresponding model in order to aid research.In the analysis of electromagnetic field, the magnetic field of solenoid gathering magnetism sensor element is calculated, the interphase magnetism orthogonal technology is proposed to improve anti interphase magnetic interference ability of OCT and the electromagnetic force issue is also discussed. In addition, the model of solenoid shape, Ω shape and slab shape current-carrying form is established in COMSOL. Then the problem of the electromagnetic force is studied through an equivalent method, the feature and applicability of each current-carrying form is compared and results reveals that OCT using interphase magnetism orthogonal technology can improve the ability of anti interphase magnetic interference. In the analysis of temperature field, inner heat source problem which is made mathematical by the heat conduction law and its boundary conditions is analyzed. The extent of different current-carrying forms affected by inner heat problem is compared and studied by establishing model in COMSOL, design suggestions are also given based on which. In the analysis of light field, theory of light polarization station and complex representation of time-harmonic uniform plane light wave is analyzed. Then light wave field simulation of polarized light is implemented in COMSOL.At last, according to above research and considering many factors, not only OCT sensor element and its shell is designed but also the whole machine is developed.
