Contact resistance is always existing in the electrical connection, whether between the same materials or different materials. As current flows through the contact resistance, contact surface will make much heat, and increasing the contact resistance, a vicious cycle formed, then cause an electrical accident, eventually, it is serious threat to life and production. In order to solve such problems, the main task of this project is to through the research and adjust its preparation process, to develop conductive paste which has better performance. All this is for the purpose of provide a theoretical basis for the production in actual.In this article, summarized and studied the primary role of the conductive paste firstly, it is just to protect electrical connections from affecting of the adverse conditions outside, reduce the contact resistance, the contact surface temperature, and improve the security and stability of electrical connections. And then design the test, to detect the performance of conductive paste which prepared. For more knowing of the theoretical knowledge about conductive mechanism conductive paste, searching literatures, and make the study the mechanism of conductivity of conductive composites from the microscopic point of view.Theory with practice, in the test, takes the method of block for purpose of getting the better recipes, by comparing and analyzing the results of the test data, makes a appraisal of the conductive paste in many aspects:thermal stability, viscosity, conductivity, corrosion resistance, resistance to water washout and tribological properties, etc. Using the method of single variable to analysis the experimental results:take the results into groups according to different variable, analysis the causes of performance differences by juxtaposing between variables.At last, effects of reducing the temperature on contacting surface were studied. The distribution of temperature on electrical contact under different conditions were analyzed, and it supports the results of the theoretical analysis. So makes an enhance understanding of the effects about the conductive paste on contact surface.
