Dynamic characteristics and control performance of single pumped storage power station are researched and simulation platform is established for simulation of transition process.The basic physical structure and the transfer function of each module of turbine regulation system are analyzed, linearized and changed to mathematical model.Then,simulation model is built to study transition process,unit network and so on.Known from model mechanism,model parameter and dynamic characteristics variation are caused by turbine head variation.The model reference adaptive control is used to do adaptive research to pumped storage power station. Combined with Lyapunov stability theory and Popov super stability theory,the change rules of controller parameter can be deduced to satisfy needs of controller.The simulation results of model reference adaptive controller and PID controller show that adaptive control has better performance in adaptability, stability,overshoot and regulation time than PID control.Dynamic characteristics and control performance of turbine regulation system are improved.
