Nowadays the development of the automotive industry is very fast, especially the growth amount of our country auto is very fast, consequently, it is more easily to occur traffic accident, so the vehicle safety is taken more and more attention. Brake is the execution and the core component of a brake system, its performance will directly affect the safety of the vehicle. Therefore the research of disc brake mustn’t be ignored.Brake work environment is a very complicated field coupling, but the function of temperature-stress field coupling is the main impact, the study of the brake’s heat-structure coupling field has very important meaning to research and improvement of the brake, in addition, it provides a set of theoretical basis for the development of the new brake materials and the optimization of organizations.The effects of disc brake in the braking process of heat on the brake is reviewed in this paper, and the history of the brake temperature stress field coupling and current research status is also analyzed. By understanding of disc-type brake’s working principle, using of CATIA to establish the three-dimensional finite element model, model meshing and setting of parameters with the finite element software ANSYS, braking simulation analysis on brake with ANSYS nonlinear transient simulation module.The temperature field distribution and stress field distribution during braking disc and the friction block any time can be gotten through the analysis on the simulation of ANSYS disc brake under emergency braking condition, so it is much easier to be observed in the brake disc friction block and the temperature field and stress field the distribution, and the axial temperature field and stress field with the braking time are easy to observed by setting the node of the brake disc and the friction block radial. Through the analysis of the simulation, the brake in the braking process of the temperature field distribution is not symmetric, and the maximum temperature of brake disc is not appeared in the end of braking. The highest temperature appeared in the frictional radius is larger, with the end of the braking process, the brake temperature gradually to the brake disc center diffusion from the beginning with the wake phenomenon obviously to a uniform trend. Through the simulation of continuous brake analysis, we can get every brake disc is the first heating cooling, but the cooling time temperature maximum and minimum values are increased with the increase of the number of consecutive, brake, brake disc cooling speed in constant speed.It has reference significance to the disc brake friction heat simulation analysis on the development design and optimization of the disc brake in this paper, it also provides a theoretical reference for brake thermal fatigue and the service life of the research through the thermal-structure coupling analysis.
