Rapid Design Method Based On The Unitized Modeling Research

Unitized modeling is a new product design method which is proposed on the basis ofparametric design method and the variant design method. It can not only realize quicklybuilding model, but also can be based on the original model to realize dynamic editing unit level,and realize the best use of reusable structure information, and provide a more comprehensive,intelligent product rapid design tool. Supported by unitized modeling technology, this articlestudies rapid design based on the unitized modeling from the model of the construction,modification, information extraction, dimensioning, the main contents are as follows:In terms of model building, this article will go on the effective partition of each partsmodel from the perspective of function and structure, and formulate the corresponding unitcombination according to different parts of model. This article will convert this model of theentire process of building to the choice of each unit and self-organization process, and willcombine with the expert knowledge base to realize the product model to quickly build step bystep.In terms of rapid change of the model, this article introduces the concept of dynamicediting. During the whole process of editing, this article breaks the original basic skeletonmodel, break through the bondage of the topology structure based on the original model bydirectly inserting, removing, and replacing the corresponding unit model. This can not onlyavoid the reconstruction of the other model, and make full use of the model structure of reusableinformation, but also can improve the efficiency of the modified model, enrich the designscheme of the model, and enhance the innovative ability of product design.In perfecting the model of information, this article adds the function of unit informationmodel creation. This unit information can be divided into attribute information and dimensionand tolerance and surface roughness. Attribute information includes unit model and the fatherand son characteristic information. As the special nature of the model, it can be directlyextracted. But dimension and tolerance and surface roughness need to do the actual annotationsaccording to the specific functions and applications.According to the above research, the "rapid design system based on the unitized modeling"is developed to provide engineers with an efficient and intelligent product design tool. It can not only realize the3d model to quickly build, but also can undertake rapid output of engineeringdrawing.
