Seasonal frost is the most widely distributed in the three northeastern provinces,Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Ningxia, northern of Xinjiang, Qinghai, Sichuan and otherplaces, and which is about53.5%of the national land area. Railways have been builtin the region, subgrade will appear frost heave, settlement, intensity change andother diseases, on the natural cooling and warming. Disease will seriously affect thespeed of the train and safety of operation. In recent years, high-speed rails are ongoing and upcoming constructed inseasonal frozen soil area, high-speed railway has high-speed, comfort and safetyfeatures, but frost heave and deformation control of subgrade need higherrequirements. Therefore, it is very important for field monitoring of the frost heavedeformation on the subgrade. In this paper, Combined with the construction of thedeep seasonal frozen area high-speed rail Harbin-Qiqihar line as an example, selected the typical test section. Testing typical on-site ground temperature, deformation, moisture and water level monitoring, it is composed of several aspectsas follows:(1)In order to ensure deep seasonal frost field testing accuracy, developedelevation piles of deep seasonal frozen area. With the help of the elevation piles, field monitoring of the frost heave deformation were completed successfully.(2)Through selected field planting temperature sensors, profiles settling tubeand heaving pile, and long-term monitoring, getting a lot of measured data, it isprovided sufficient technical support to structures designed in the deep seasonalfrozen soil areas.(3)Based on the measured data of the deep seasonal frozen area, analyzed andsummarized temperature variation of the railway embankment, settlement ofsubgrade deformation, deformation of subgrade surface frost-thaw and variation ofwater content were analyzed and summarized, verified the roal of the insulationprotects and the preventing frost heave packing to the subgrade.
