The development of today’s society the requirement of electric power is increasing rapidly, at the same time, the power quality requirements are increasingly high, many power quality problems led to the decline in the quality of the products, interrupting the production process, even equipment damaged, affecting the overall efficiency of national economy, therefore, in the construction of smart grid concept, analysis and research in power quality monitor, ensuring safe and reliable operation of power grid users, has become a necessary condition for the sustainable development of electric power.This paper has studied in-depth on the theory of power quality analysis, provides a theoretical basis for calculating the on-line index of electric energy, aim at the theory of voltage flicker, which has complex detection technology, and lack of relative research, it will introduce the fast changing asymmetrical oscillating amplitude in extraction process when the voltage flicker with high-frequency harmonics, that we present the improved method solving the Hilbert transform with harmonic flash variables, using the principle of synchronous detection and wavelet packet analysis to process the flicker signal of Hilbert transform can improve the detection accuracy, and simulating results in MATLAB. In addition, the power quality monitor is detailed designed according to the requirements of electricity, In consideration of the monitoring system requires multi-channel data acquisition, mass data processing, and the real-time condition, this paper is finally proposed the hardware design of embedded power quality monitor at the core of DSP, and supplemented with FPGA, ARM, Due to the stress at work, this paper focuses on the algorithm, schematic design and DSP. In the guiding ideology of modular design, achieves the hardware and software design of power quality monitoring system. Using parallel processing and control logic in high-speed data transmission of FPGA, controls the AD7606data acquisition and transmission; using powerful data processing ability of DSP, completes the calculation and analysis of the basic electrical parameters and the power system targets; using rich peripheral interface circuit and the advantage of easily transplanting the embedded operating system of ARM microprocessor, realizes task scheduling, data display, man-machine interface and other functions in monitoring system.After testing, this paper obviously improves the measurement accuracy of the voltage flicker when improved algorithm, the design of power quality monitor can have a long-term stable operation in satisfying demand conditions, which reaches the initial goal. Finally, testing of the whole monitoring system, which the results verify the indicators meet the state standards, and realizes the purposes of the power quality online monitoring and analysis.
