Position Communication System

Military Communications System is an important means to guarantee information transmission between various operational elements, which is required to have high reliability, flexibility, operability and all-weather, as well as high mobility, high anti-interference and high survivability. Position Communication System is designed to provide point-to-multipoint (PMP), communication on-the-move (OTM) and anti-interference radio communication in defensive positions, by which a reliable and effective transmission of operational command, coordinated operational data and voice can be provided, that greatly improves overall combat effectiveness of various operation units.Relaying on position communication system, following researches will be described in this thesis:1) Functions and scheme demonstration of positional communication system and reasonable signal form;2) Link design;3) Design and implementation of baseband processing unit, modem unit, transceiver and other major unit modules;4) System functionality&performance experiment and test in Indoor and outdoor environments.
