With the rapid development of the world society and economy, energy problemshave become increasingly prominent. Wave energy is a kind of very good quality greenenergy, the development and utilization of wave energy is very important to solve theenergy crisis of modern society and realize the sustainable development. This article first briefly introduces the research dynamics of wave energygeneration technology at home and abroad, summarizes all kinds of wave energygeneration device according to relatively popular international classification methods, and analyzes their working mechanism and advantages and shortcomings. On the basisof fully understand of their rules and the pros and cons, in accordance with the actualsituation of our country sea condition, we design a built-in wave energy device. Thedevice adopts a totally-enclosed structure, is simple, reliable, and insusceptible toseawater corrosion. The final conversion device uses the permanent magnet lineargenerator and has high conversion efficiency, it can realize a new way tocommercialization and low cost wave energy generation technology. What work thisarticle has been done is listed below:(1) By reading the literature, summary the technology of the world wave energypower generation and use their principle and advantage for reference design a built-inwave energy convertor, and analyze its working principle. Design and draw the mainstructure parts including floating body, linear generator and built-in structure.(2) The system dynamics model of wave energy convertor is established, thedynamics equations are obtained. And using the boundary element method based onlinear potential flow theory to solve the motion response of floating body under thewave including the force and hydrodynamic coefficient, etc.(3) Solve the numerical simulation of the interaction of floating body and wave byusingAqwa software, and discuss how the device and wave parameters influence waveenergy conversion performance, the floating body is optimized.(4) The linear generator model adopted by the device is designed, and on the basis of the brief introduction and analysis of the linear generator and principle ofelectromagnetic field, the numerical simulation for the linear generator is calculated byusingAnsys Maxwell software, laythe foundation for the subsequent improvement andoptimization.(5)Adams software is used to analyze dynamic simulation analysis of the internalstructure of the floating body, verify the feasibility of the mechanical system design, and discuss the proportion of the rod, spring coefficient and the quality of the ball andother parameters on the energy conversion efficiency, the parameters are optimized.
