| With the rapid development of economy, the scale of China’s infrastructure construction is expanding. In engineering construction, we will often encounter weak foundation, whose capacity can’t meet the requirements of the building construction. In order to meet the bearing capacity and deformation requirements which the upper part of the building structure exert on the foundation, a growing number of projects use composite foundation for ground treatment.According to vertical reinforcement materials, composite foundation can be divided into three types include discrete material pile composite foundation, flexible pile composite foundation and rigid pile composite foundation.DJM Pile Composite Foundation is one type of flexible piles. There is no noise, no vibration, no soil body displacement, no waste water pollution, less environmental impact when it is in the construction. Moreover, the construction is simple, low cost, and the construction period is short. The technology has broad prospects in treating soft soil.Currently, DJM Composite Foundation is rarely applied in Zhengzhou. Moreover, the technology is used more in Bridge Engineering but less in Construction Engineering. Its reinforcement mechanism, failure mechanism and other aspects’ theory is imperfect, there has been some problems in the actual project.This article studies the mechanism of action and failure mode of DJM pile in treating soft soil, elaborates DJM composite foundation’s calculation method of bearing capacity and settlement. Use the engineering example of Zhengzhou City landscape eco-city residential area which uses DJM composite foundation to treat soft soil, calculate the bearing capacity of pile and composite foundation, determine the pile diameter, pile length, pile spacing, area displacement ratio, curing agents and other design parameters incorporation. Through the field of single pile static load test and static load test of composite foundation, verify the applicability of the relevant capacity calculation formula. Meanwhile, summary and describe problems and solutions in the construction process of DJM composite foundation. Related conclusions can provided reference for the promotion and application of DJM Composite Foundation in Zhengzhou. |
