Walking excavator as an emerging specialty machinery and equipment, can be widelyused in various construction sites, such as disaster relief, the space is small, mountainous andother common construction machinery can not reach the place, so the safety and efficiency ofconstruction walking excavator being subjected to great concern. Using traditional methodscan not meet the design requirements. This article uses three-dimensional software to designand simulation of the force, has become a necessary method of research and developmentwork. In this paper, a comprehensive survey and analysis of the walking excavator in thepresent state of development at home and abroad, based on the structure and control of thewalk way, using three-dimensional simulation software simulation technology to analyze thekinematics and dynamics simulation state, to determine the risk of chassis workingconditions, and accordingly the strength of the chassis body analysis, stability analysis. FullText mainly elaborated from the following aspects:Firstly, the domestic and international developments and structural features walkingexcavator, and a summary description of its method of operation.Secondly, the study of the hydraulic excavator walking establish the mathematical modeland the overall stability problems. Then, using SolidWorks software to create a three-dimensional model of the machine.Using multi-body dynamics simulation software Simulation/Motin on the chassis movementsimulation analysis. Determining the most dangerous condition of the chassis on the basis ofsimulation results. The boundary conditions are also the fatigue analysis and static analysis.
