With the pace of China’s urbanization,urban municipal infrastructure especiallycity road construction are also rapidly developing. Different with general highway,urban roads in addition to meeting the growing traffic should also bear the task of"pipeline corridor",on the issues of urban economic development,a variety of linesof production and public life is often dependent on the road,Therefore,the variousmanhole to ensure these underground pipe network is also running on the roadsthroughout the city. Manhole,although not an important urban road facilities,but it’sessential to regular inspecting of pipe drainage system,clearing pass and other specialinspection or maintenance. For a long time,people’s attention on the manhole is notenough, and so on design, construction and maintenance reasons, resulting in amanhole and the surrounding pavement subsidence, fragmentation and other diseases,has seriously affected the road’s normal operation and the public traffic safety,andbecame quickly destroy "source", the government had to invest a lot of manpowerand material resources for manhole repair.In this paper,against subsidence and other municipal manhole surroundingfragmentation disease, respectively from the design, construction and maintenanceand other aspects of post-curing of the municipal manhole has been systematicallystudied and obtained the following main results:(1)On the basis of full investigation,summarized and analyzed of the majordiseases of the municipal manhole, and analyzes the reasons for each of the threeaspects of the disease may lead to manhole from design, construction and postmaintenance.(2)According to soil mechanics, structural mechanics, elasticity theory,themanhole cover, manhole wells body and force manhole concrete floor were analyzedand calculated,get the force and deformation of the manhole cover, body and bottomof the well,and laid the theoretical foundation on the rational design of variouscomponents.(3)Analysis the current problems in the design of manhole,taking into account the vehicle load, manhole material properties and geometry, backfill performanceimpact on the mechanical properties of manhole uncertainty,and proposed designmethod based on reliability theory, were established wells, wells body and bottomlimit state equation, the realization of the constituent units manhole reliability design.(4)Manhole construction technology systems were analyzed and summarized,presented disease manhole construction Maintenance optimization techniques, as wellas the construction process of the key construction quality control points; establish adynamic municipal manhole construction quality control based on process capabilitymodel,which were applied to the construction quality control of manhole backfill,and achieved good results.(5)Constructed the municipal manhole usage evaluation system, discussed indetail the investigation and the value of each index calculation methods, assessmentgrading standards, and determined the weights of each evaluation factor using theImproved AHP. On this basis, the establishment of a municipal manhole technicalcondition evaluation model based on fuzzy math theory and Markov random processtheory and the technical condition of the municipal manhole prediction model basedon gray system theory, for the maintenance and repair of municipal manhole providedtechnical support.
