Mechanical seals are very important between the mechanical and fluid powermachinery. In the high parameter complicated working conditions,, mechanical sealring seal friction generated vibration in the course of their work. It was seriouslyaffected by the vibration of mechanical seals, causing movement ring face the wearand increasing leakage. In order to reduceing the leakage, according to the form of themechanical seal friction face. There are two different faces, spiral groove mechanicalseal and no spiral groove mechanical seals. mechanical seals due to the spiral groovehydrostatic or dynamic pressure, friction between the seal ring face filled with the fullof fluid film, the seal faces separated the fluid without a rigid mechanical sealconnection, in order to improve the service life, reduce leakage purposes. In this paper, mechanical seal ring as the research object, the establishment ofthree-dimensional numerical model. First, with a spiral groove ring and ring withoutspiral grooves modal analysis were performed to calculate its low natural vibrationfrequency and vibration mode, as well as the order of the corresponding maximumdeformation and vibration stress, get each order master plans and change in modalvibration stress and deformation curve; then spiral groove ring and fluid filmcombinations (wet modal) analysis, which changes; Finally, the spiral groove ring andits end face fluid film fluid-structure interaction analysis, interface friction betweenthe pressure distribution and film sealing ring stress-strain conditions.Through the friction ring spiral groove dynamics analysis, the fluid in the airand the natural frequency of the curve; friction characteristics of the fluid through themembrane analysis, a radial end face of the fluid film pressure curve, the pressurecurve.
