Continuous regenerative combustion technology research began in themid-1990s, it is a new type of energy-saving combustion technology. It retains theflame switching regenerative combustion technology advantage and make up for itsshortcomings, so it has high research value. Self-regenerative burner technology is akey component of the switching regenerative bombustions.This article use thenumerical simulation method to study the self-regenerative burner structureoptimization.The main contents and results are as follows:1.Introduced the principle of continuous regenerative combustion technology,common structure, development, advantages and applications. Secondly, it introducesthe numerical simulation technology, which describes in detail the basic equations ofnumerical simulation techniques, numerical simulation model involved herein andcommonly used numerical methods.2. Simplified the high-temperature heat treatment furnaces of a factory. Throughthe establishment of a three-dimensional numerical simulation software physicalmodel. Simulation model selection criteria, PDF combustion model, heat transfermodel, P1radiation model and reasonable approach to solving complex thermalprocess of three-dimensional numerical simulation of the combustion space.3. By means of numerical simulation methods to adjust the self-regenerativeburners structural parameters, influence of regenerative burner gas nozzle spacing andair vents on the furnace temperature field, velocity field and the slab temperaturedistribution characteristics. Studies have shown that: a more uniform temperaturedistribution from regenerative furnace. But after the change forward, in the vicinity ofthe air inlet and flue gas exit temperature fluctuations to varying degrees.Switch is themain reason for the temperature fluctuations, temperature fluctuations of the size ofair will cause the coal pitch, thus affects the quality of the slab heating.Finally findout the more conducive to billet heating in furnace gas nozzle and air nozzle spacing.
