| The train operation has stringent requirements on safety and railway accident often happens due to various reasons such as the single malfunction. The difference of energy loss under different methods of train operation is very large. The information that received from existing train operation control system is mainly includes speed and distance information. The drivers know less about the surrounding geographical information. So, if we can equip the train driver with a set of driving assistant equipment, to provide information of collision precautionary, geographical environment and operation suggestions of energy saving optimization, this equipment as a means for train operation control system would have realize a better train control, and have the very vital significance. At present, a lot of research on the driver assistance system for train and its function expansion has been carried out in the world. However, there is little research in this area in our country. Research for China’s driver assistance system for train is an urgent task, in order to ensure the safety and efficiency of the railway transportation.This paper studies a driver assistance system for train with some features such as collision precautionary, energy saving optimization operation and geographic information navigation.Analyze and compare the key technology of driver assistance system for train, such as train positioning technology, wireless communication technology, as well as the geographic information technology and so on.This paper designs the overall structure of driver assistance system for train according to the functional requirements and the design principle of the system. The proposed driver assistance system for train is composed of on-board equipment and ground control center. Then, make an in-depth research respectively on the on-board equipment structure and function.This paper gives the concrete design scheme of collision precautionary, geographic information navigation, and energy saving optimization function, on the basis of the whole structure design. In detail, the design scheme includes the main function of the on-board processing unit, on-board human-computer interaction module and the ground control center; it also includes how to carry out the information interaction between on-board processing unit and the ground control center, on-board processing units and human-computer interaction module. At last, this paper detailed design the human-machine interface of the system. |
