The crane,as the major cargo-handling equipment in ports,railway as well we in industrialand mining sites, has now grown to hundreds of tons of lifting capacity and continue to large andautomation direction.The improper or overrun operation will cause damage to the equipment andthen bring great economic losses.Therefore, the crane must be equipped with safety devices toensure that the crane work within safety limits.Based on the crane with2tons weight and3meter high and its hydraulic system principlesin the Marine Laboratory of Jimei University,this paper will select the testing program from fourkinds of test methods and experimental data analysis.The main controller is Samsung S3C2440ARM9series processors in the system’s hardwarewhich is design by Mini2440development board.The hardware consists of three sensors ofanalog channels and conditioning circuit,and four digital input channels limiter. A solenoid valvecontrol circuit of digital output channels could compose of the human-computer interactionunit by the use of10.0-inch LCD and touch screen technology,and via the standard USBinterface to realize the data storage in U disk.The system’s software,within Linux operation system and Vmware Workstation6.5virtualmachine installed Linux distribution Fedora operating system and ADS integrated developmentenvironment,makes the design on the platform of C language.Software development will include system customization, A/D driver design, GPIO portdriver design and the upper application design (including data acquisition, data storage, LCDscreen display).Though the systematical testing,we can know whether this system could make the real timeparameters information collection,storage,monitoring, sound and light alarm and display in orderto ensure the security of crane operation.
