With the rapidly development of today’s urban size, large-scale foundation pitengineering constructions bring about the opportunities for research and development, but made researchers and technicians to face more challenges and problems. One ofthe most important issue is the deep excavation impacts on the surroundingenvironment. In this thesis, it takes Tianjin Liuwei Road pit engineering construction as thebackground, which using ANSYS to establish a three-dimensional finite elementmodel and through numerical simulation software GDEM simulated precipitationunder different working conditions before and after the construction site of theinfluence of the foundation pit itself and the surrounding environment, analyze theprocess of excavation and supporting of foundation pit engineering of retainingstructures and surrounding influence of settlement of metro tunnel, buildings androads. And make comparison with field monitoring data to validate the feasibility ofusing method.Using discrete element method software GDEM which based on continuummechanics to simulate the excavation engineering of different excavation methods, capacity of retaining structures and support stiffness influence on its retainingstructure deformation, displacement and the surrounding environment. Obtained thesettlement curves of foundation pit retaining structures, surrounding buildings androads which under different excavation supporting methods. Summed up thefoundation pit engineering construction in the process of the main factors that impacton the environment are basal springback uplift caused by excavation unloading andthe decrease of underground water level and the deformation of the retainingstructure.By referencing actual engineering to establish three-dimensional finite elementmodel, for analysing the main factors affecting of the foundation pit’s stability and thesurrounding environment to improve the recognition of people for large complex structure, and hope this can provide reference for future similar structure design andconstruction.
