Based on the analysis of the current status of domestic of the smart home, thereare some problems in the current smart home industry. More prominent point is thatthe current information communication of the smart home does not have standard andunify platform. When companies develop smart home products, they complete thecommunication between devices by themselves. The efficiency of communicationbetween devices is low, and the communication state is unstable.For the existing problems of development of the smart home, this paper realizesthe smart home equipment data transmission system underlying platform based onLinux. This platform services at the data communication of the smart home, includingcontrol communication and video-like communication. For facilitating datatransmission between devices of the smart home and improving the intelligent level ofthe smart home, the control communication and the video-like communicationprovide a variety of communication modes. The control communication provides fourcommunication modes. They are the query mode, the notification mode, the blockingmode, the asynchronous mode. The video-like communication provides thestream-buffer mode, the block-buffer mode, the no-buffer mode. What’s more, theplatform provides the communication mode that one device can communicate withmany devices simultaneously.The smart home equipment data transmission system underlying platform usesclient/server model, and uses a number of key technologies, including threadconcurrency technology, TCP/IP protocol suite, Socket communication technology,POSIX standard and so on.The innovation of this thesis is reflected in the following three points. First, thesmart home equipment data transmission system underlying platform based on Linuxis designed and implemented, which is based on the current domestic development ofthe smart home. The emergence of the platform specificities and effectively supportsdata communication of the smart home, and promotes the development of the smarthome. Second, in order to ensure the security of data transmission of the platform andprevent network attacks, the platform proposes a secure data transmission algorithm based on MD5algorithm by improving the MD5. Third, one of the main features ofthe platform is the application of a large number of the concurrent thread technology.In order to ensure the stability, robustness of the platform, concurrent performance forthe platform is tested.
